The role
An excited opportunity is available to join Prospera for a Corporate Financial Analyst position as a part of Prospera’s support to the Government of Indonesia. The Analyst should have expertise and experience in examining and commenting corporate’s balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and other key financial reports to extract the key performance indicator and issues. The Analyst is also expected to provide relevant policy assessment and improvement to Prospera and its counterparts at the level of Government of Indonesia. The position is expected to have proficiency in financial modelling techniques and bring strong business quantitative and analytical skills. Industry knowledge is a plus, however, please note that the nature of Prospera’s engagement does not limit to a specific industry

About you (Selection Criteria) 
The candidate will possess strong qualifications and experience to support (technical area) and policy making processes, including:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Corporate Management. Post-graduate qualification and/or relevant professional certification such as CPA or CFA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience working on industry/corporate/consulting/ equity analysis. Experience engagement with Indonesian SOE is a plus.
  • Understanding of the Indonesian economy and data.
  • Knowledge and experience working on the Indonesian economy, with Indonesian and international policymakers.
  • Computing proficiency with competency in the use of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as one or more corporate data source such as Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ.
  • Excellent written communication skills with fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and oral), including advocacy and presentation skills. Proven ability to write a concise report in Bahasa Indonesia and English

About the program
Prospera is a partnership facility between the Government of Australia (through Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade) and the Government of Indonesia. It aims to foster strong, sustainable, and inclusive economic growth in Indonesia. Commencing from 1 March 2018, Prospera is a planned five-year investment.

The remuneration will be set according to National Remuneration Framework (NRF) Discipline Group C, Job Level 2 applies for Indonesia nationals. The remuneration level at which the adviser is engaged will be based on the successful candidate’s relevant skills and experience. This is a full-time position and will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
